All Marketers are Scammer Pt 2
All marketers are scammers eh? Some practices I disagree with marketers on is the abuse of testimonials as I said in the previous issue, and if you have some time I would recommend checking it out.
The two funniest testimonials are the audio and video ones. Getting testimonials can be hard at times so imagine squeezing out an audio or video testimonial out of a customer without bribing them.
Better yet, who will have the technology on hand? I have given testimonials before because I believe in giving a man or woman credit when credit is due, but never have it crossed my mind that a product is so great that I will take time off my schedule to record an audio testimonial for it, never. Have you?
Didn t think so, no one in the right mind would. I never had a customer that was so satisfied that they decided to record an audio testimonial for one of my products, and I consider my products to be of premium quality.
Forget about video testimonials it s just non-believable. It looks exactly like one of those infomercials on TV, the people look and sound like they are reading a script. A believable testimonial is a customer that is writing a brief comment on the product and how much success they have had with it, or simply their thoughts about it. They are usually good because who would put negative comments about their product on their website?
A picture is fine, but when I see the same marketer on countless of information products, I start to get a little skeptical they short of kill the effect. When I look for testimonials I want to know how the average Joe blow manages to have success with it, not some other marketer that has been in the game for years.
Last, I want the testimonials to not be solicited, which means I don t want the marketer to ask their partners for testimonials, I want ALL of them to come from customers who purchased the product, and that is something I practice.
So, in the end I take back what I say about marketers, they are not all scammers they are just business people that are trying to sell a product. However, I do have a problem with some of them that would stoop to any means necessary to sale a product, but that s just by personal beliefs.
