There are only one way of getting PageRank and that is to get people linking to you. This could be very tricky since people wont know about your site unless there are some links to it. How would they find it?

So the first thing you have to do is to cheat a little and create some links for yourself. This could most easily be done by signing up to a forum and post an article about your site and ask for other peoples opinion or such.

Another way is to write an article and have it published on loads of other pages which are happy for any new original content (this is how I have done with this article).

A third way is to use social bookmarking which is sites that works the almost in the same way as your favorites in Internet Explorer except here everyone can see your favourites including Google.
Some of these sites have a very high page rank and if you want to get a site spidered quickly this is undoubtedly the most effective way to get it done.

It could also be a good idea to submit your site to all the directories or at least as many as you can. To do this I advice you to use special tools which could do the job for you or at least help you to do it semi automatic.
