Wireless Advertising Channels

You may have been at any public facilities or at home and seen television ads for wireless products. There are other channels used to advertise wireless products that may not be too obvious to users of wireless services. Wireless advertising channels for both traditional and recent technologies are now considered.

Traditional forms of wireless advertising channels may include magazines, newsletters and catalogs. Industry publications are also a great way to advertise wireless products. In light of traditional methods product packaging is also a viable channel. Most companies when shipping a product includes such form of advertisement, sometimes in promotional form about their wireless services provided they offer such services.

Wireless advertising is also done via embedding in software. Manufacturers of software put notices and general information in the software application so that when it is installed such products are visible. Internet access services that offer download may also place information about wireless services in those downloads. The only way to see the services would be to look at the actual download which is inevitable. Service providers also include in their websites or portals. Not to be overlooked is finding advertising for wireless products through search engines. It will appear under relevant keywords searches.

Finally, Web Clipping Application (WCA) or Palm Query Application (PQA) which are synonymous terms uses clipping applications to advertise wireless services. This may be done using a mobile device that has a clip where messages can be received from the Web. Overtime, thee channels will see increased awareness and advancements in technology will increase usage of these channels. Various applications will become obsolete however wireless advertising channels will continue to be viable.
