Affiliate program has been one of the most lucrative industries on the internet; it has created more millionaires than any other industries. This program gives everybody the equal opportunity to earn easy money online no matter you are a newbie or a pro in internet marketing. Since affiliate marketing is easy to join, implement and pays on a regular basis, more and more people are now getting into it.

However, like every other online businesses, affiliate marketing has its own pitfall. Committing in these pitfalls or mistakes is going to cost you a large portion taken from the profit they are making everyday. Just imagine that today you have spent 2 months building a profitable affiliate business, you have achieved your goal, which is to earn easy money online. Since affiliate programs are easy to join, and there are tons of them out there. Many people will try to join a lot of them and try to maximize their profits for each of the affiliate products. Besides you may think that there is nothing wrong and nothing to lose by being part of many affiliate programs.

It is good to have multiple streams of income, but you must understand that by promoting each and every one of your affiliate products, it prevents you from focusing in just one. Meaning to say, you are not maximizing the potential of your affiliate program. You will see that the income which you make is not as much as you can think of. You have to somehow focus just like a laser beam, promote only one affiliate product at one time.

It is not that you cannot promote other affiliate programs just that you have to give your best effort in it first. As soon as you see that it is already making a reasonable profit, then maybe you can now join another affiliate program. The key here is to do it slowly, but surely. Mistake #3 – Not using or buying the affiliate product which you are promoting
How many of you actually buy the affiliate products which you are promoting? The main reason as an affiliate marketer is to recommend products to customers which can really help them to solve their problems. The ingredient to success in affiliate marketing is to pre-sell, create more value for your prospects.

If you are selling something which you don’t even know the results, do you think that your business will go long? I don’t think so. You have to actually try out the products before you start promoting them to your prospects. If you are not operating from the mindset of wanting to help your prospects to solve their problem, your prospects will smell it and they know you are just wanted to make money from them.

Try the product or service personally first before you sign up as an affiliate to see if it is really delivering what it promises. If you have done so, then you are one of the credible and living testaments aware of its advantages and disadvantages. Your prospects will trust you even more, they feel that you are helping them sincerely and they will buy from you.
